POETRY

Winner of the 2012 Sydney Poetry Prize and creator of Q-Poetics (Poetry in Queues).

Skye is a published performance poet and creator of ‘Q-POETICS’, (poetry in places and spaces of waiting – queues), which premiered at the Sydney Writers Festival 2013, opened the Kelpies, and was part of Cultural Programme for Commonwealth Games, Festival 2014. Her poetry has been performed at various festivals here and abroad, supporting Kae Tempest (Spoken Four, Sydney Writers Fest) and alongside Holly McNish (Marrickville Writers Fest, Aust)

Her performance poetry has included the long-form performance poem, The Line We Draw  Skye was Writer-in-Residence for Wigtown Book Festival 2016, sharing her poetry through the commute between Spring Fling artist’s studios, and performing This Impossible Rim in response to exhibitions on route.

Skye is currently working on a collection, You May Lose Your Fingerprint, which includes the collaborative film-poem with visual artist Adam Sebire, You May Lose Your Fingerprint (screened with the National Theatre of Scotland’s  Dear Planet COP26 day).
